Mais j'ai examiné tous les prix et je me suis rendu compte que c'était au Skydome à Toronto où c'était le plus cher donc c'est peut-être un peu moins bon à savoir.

Les rumeurs sont revenues aux oreilles que tout suit son cours et que c'est en bonne voir
ChampionsWorld aurait évité la faillite et si tournée il y a, elle passera par Montréal
Vraisemblablement un duel entre un club italien et un britannique, et peut-être un deuxième match

Apparemment, des nouvelles sortant de chez Olympiakos indique que le Champions World series sera joue entre le AC Milan, Chelsea, Benfica et eux-meme :

23 juillet : AC Milan vs Olympiakos (Toronto)
27 juillet : Chelsea vs Olympiakos (Montreal)
28 juillet : Benfica VS Olympiakos (Ou??)

Olympiakos s'en vient ... WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys! Ché pas, mais y paraît que ça serrait une programme double. Une match en fin d'après-midi et l'autre en soirée.

Chelsea, Olympiakos, Benfica, AC Milan. Toute c'te belle gang.

Chelsea U.S. summer tour under threat?

Chelsea's American summer tour could be threatened by the lack of top class opponents.

The Barclays Premiership champions are struggling to find clubs to take part in the Champions World Series after the tournament promoter, Champions World, went bust in January.

Their decline has left Chelsea with the problem of arranging their own fixtures for the event and so far only AC Milan have confirmed they will be in America at the end of July.

Now Chelsea are considering ditching plans for the tournament in order to play exhibition matches during their stay in the States.

Chelsea made approximately $2.8 million from last year's pre-season tour of America and the club want to underline their presence in one of four target markets.

They have identified the U.S., Russia, China and London as key marketing areas and have secured agreements to hold matches in New York, Chicago and Toronto.

Chelsea, who take on Asian champions Suwon Bluewings today as part of its Korean tour, may opt to play a two-legged tie against Milan followed by a one-off friendly against an American side.

The future of Champions World will be resolved by the Federal District Court of Newark, New Jersey, next week after a public auction of their assets failed to deliver a new owner.

Soccer United Marketing and San Marco Sports Events are bidding to take over the company and the winner may decide to revive the tournament, although that is unlikely to happen in time for this summer.

Les derniere nouvelles que j'ai eu etait qu'Olympiakos attend de recevoir le contract de Champions World pour le signer. Mais, si ca ne se fait pas avant la fin de cette semaine, Olympiakos se retirerait probablement du tournoi. Et avec les nouvelles dont Francois nous fais part... ca regarde tres mal...

J'ai lu sur bigsoccer qu'on aurait un match Milan AC-Benfica le 27 juillet.

Milan jouerait contre Olimpiakos le 24 juillet à Toronto.

Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG) has announced a series July friendlies involving MLS, Premiership champions Chelsea, and Champions League finalists AC Milan.
The 2005 World Series of Football schedule is as follows:

7/24 AC Milan-Chelsea @ Gillette Stadium
7/27 Chicago Fire- AC Milan @ Soldier Field 8:30pm
7/28 D.C. United-Chelsea @ FedEx Field, Live on ESPN2 8:00pm
7/31 AC Milan-Chelsea @ Giants Stadium - TBD

D.C. United will travel up the road to Landover, Maryland, instead of playing at RFK Stadium. FedEx field seats about twice as many (90,000) than RFK Stadium. United's July 28 match against Real Salt Lake will be moved to accomodate Chelsea. The match with RSL already was scheduled to appear on ESPN2, but now the match with the Blues will fill that slot. Chicago will be playing at home on the pitch at Soldier Field.

Chelsea CEO Peter Kenyon was pleased with the arrangements. "Delighted to go back to the US for our preseason. We think it’s the perfect venue to prepare to defend our championship. It’ll be high quality and competitive," he said.
