To get into the concacaf champions league, your federation must have a spot to give.

The USSSSSSSSF was given 4. they have split their entries so that the (american) winner of the mls season gets one. the (american) winner of the MLS cup gets another. (I think) the (american) MLS cup finalist gets another. And the winner of the US Open Cup gets the last one.

Stop talking about ridiculous hypotheticals about how the league can lead to the cup for us, Canadians. Maybe we'll get another spot, to which the CSA will choose to give to the best Canadian team in MLS season? Maybe they'll choose to give another possible birth to the Vcup runner up?

Maybe there'll be a huge earthquake, causing canada to break off and float down into mexico, and maybe then we can qualify from the Liga MX?

or maybe we should all realise that in this current situation, we should be demanding our club performs in the ONLY worthwhile competition we play in, the Voyageurs Cup. Maybe that will be better than all this half assed speculation about the future and innaccurate comparisons to Monaco, Wales, Luxembourg, et on s'en crisse?

Maybe some people will realise how stupid they've sounded in this thread, maybe other will think the same about me.

It doesn't matter, because the only thing that matters is the voyageurs cup, and we should be up in ARMS about how poorly our club values that.
