Yiiiihhhhaaaaaa!!!!!!!
5-1, F I V E - ONE!!!!!
A very good result for us, our good form at home continues. The game then:
We opened up very brightly, it was quite clear from the start that Assyriska's defence had some major problems containing our two quick forwards. We scored the first goal after 11 minutes when our forward struck while their defence looked on. Same thing just five minutes later, 2-0 and barely 15 minutes into the game.
3-0 came after our african wonderkid ran in circles around their defence and curled in the ball from distance. This more or less killed the game, Assyriska looked like they wanted the game to be over and we more or less jut ran the clock down until halftime.
Assyriska came out, kicked off and scored within 40 seconds. I hope someone will tell our defence that the game actually starts when the ref whistles...Now, in previous years this would have meant a VSK side struggling to get one point from these sort of games but our current side just increased pace and we soon made it 4-1. By now Assyriska surrendered and our forwards could have scored umpteen more goals, but due to some poor finishing from some players we just scored one more.
All in all, a good game for us. Some appalling defensive play from them, you could tell that this was a team where things are not quite right. They sacked their manager just before our game, so I think there's a bit of turmoil within their club.

Next game on sunday, Boden away. A game I'll definitely not go to, it is in the very north of Sweden so a round trip of 2000 km is what you are in for if you go from here....Three points should be realistic if we are to keep in touch with the top teams. The table is quite congested now, we are in fourth place but only two points behind the leaders.
