Radzinski's career statistics
Blackburn Rovers have failed in a bid to sign Everton's Tomasz Radzinski.
Rovers manager Graeme Souness wanted the Canadian international to boost his strike force after a mixed season.
But Everton counterpart David Moyes is resisting any offers for the 30-year-old Canadian international.
Souness told BBC Sport: "I spoke to David Moyes on Monday and he told me Tomasz was not for sale. He is a good player, but I respect Everton's word and we will look elsewhere."
Radzinski has scored six goals this season, including the recent equaliser against Arsenal.
And boss Moyes regards him as a key figure in his striking line-up.
I think he is a good player but fear that Souness is becoming desperate
Radzinski, a £4.5m buy from Anderlecht in 2001, is out of contract in 18 months and is likely to open negotiations on a new deal in the summer.
Souness is searching for a striker after missing out on USA star Brian McBride to Fulham.
