Ok, ok, I'll give you an update.... Well actually there is not much to give. We have not heard anything yet, but he did not play any of the games in La Manga, so it is obvious that the club weren't very interested in seeing him in action. So either he was just not good enough, or maybe they were convinced by his performences at practice....something I sincirely doubt. But, as I said, no news yet. As you probably know, we lost both our games in La Manga with 0-3, and now the coach has stated that the club aims for the major league within 2 years, and not directly after this season. This has lead to speculations about our captain, Jan Tore Ophaug, moving to one of the top teams in Norway, Brann from Bergen. Apparently, he is not satisfied with playing in the 1.division for more than one year, but Moss don't have to sell him now. But then he will become a free-agent after this season, unless he signs a new contract.

By the way, goodfellas, wasn't it great that Norwegian musher Robert Soerlie kicked the shit out of the Americans in the Iditarod sled dog race? Those Alaskans didn't knew what hit them, and when they finally did, he was long gone towards Nome!! Yea!

Todays newspaper states that Meuleman has not been offered a contract with Moss, and therefor will have to look for another employer. A rarely seen phenomenon occured today, as Moss won a friendly against Häcken, a Swedish team! Patrice Bernier did not play due to a minor injurie, but is reported to be fit for fight by friday, when we meet county rival #1, Fredrikstad. Rob Friend received a red card from the ref, after an incident with a player from Häcken. The ref is reported to have behaved rather strange, and he also allowed Moss to replace Rob, nice guy!

As I have done before, I will also in this post give you all some further info on Norwegian/Scandinavian teams, looking trough the weird glass. This time it's about todays opponent, Häcken. For you, this name means nothing, but in Swedish it is a slang-word for ASS, or butt, or behind, or rear end if you prefer. So when you say "kiss my butt", they actually say "kiss my häcken"! Good to know, don't you think? You can never get to much information!

The dumb ass, referee, who gave Rob a red card in this friendly, has sent a report on the incident to the Norwegian Football Ascosiation. The result is a suspension for two games, and therefor he will not play against Haugesund and Alta, the two opening matches of this years campaign towards the re-entering of the premier division. I'm so pissed!!

We should all kick this referee's häcken!!!
