Impact Soccer

It was again a match of two very different halves, first half best described as boring. Non-existent pace, poor passing made for some dreadful football, we did take the lead anyway after our attacker made a nice run and managed to squeeze away a shot which found its way.

Second half and Gefle equalised after two minutes, this somehow prompted VSK to get going. Pace increased, we started to look like a football side and with help from our lightning quick attacker, Stefan Bärlin, we put Gefle under real pressure. It didnt take long for us to score, and with 20 minutes to go we were leading 3-1. Two players were subbed in the 76th minute, enter the small ghanesian Atiku. F***in hell, long time since I saw anything like that. Brilliant technique, speedy and some amazing passes had the Gefle defenders running in circles. He even managed to get us a penalty, this after being on the pitch for 20(!) seconds. The penalty was saved of course, what else did you expect?

Braz wasn't really tested today, but he certainly looks confident. Togheter with our other central defender, Feltendahl, they dominated our defence.

All in all, a brilliant second half from us, both our manager and Gefles thought we outclassed them. Feels good to be green & white today...
Next game (hopefully) against Häcken on sunday, bring 'em on I say!

The game is cancel, becaus the municipality employd is at strike. Next VSK game is the 14 may... To day was it the draw to the swedish cup 4th round. We should play against Öster who won Superettan last year, and have playd very good in Allsvenskan (6th place of 14 places)

Well, you're not the only one wondering. The game against Häcken is postponed due to the strike, but our game against Forward that was postponed before is now taking place on wednesday May 14th.

As "Snus" said, we got Öster away in the cup. Tough draw, but hopefully we'll keep our quest for Europe alive...
