It's nice to know that history can be changed by just saying that something didn't happen. But that fact is everything happened exactly as I described, and that won't change.

If they had said it was no big deal, admitting that it happened but was just one fan's actions would have been fine with me. Blaming the fan from Portland for making up the story really reflects badly on the organization, in my opinion.

Thank you to the fan who told me about this post, I appreciate it.

I don't think this is taken in the proper context. Daniel is just expressing his view after a meeting with the club. I don't think he said that it never happened. I just hope we could move on and learn from that exprerience.

I agree. I had no intention of bringing it up again. What's past is past and I hold no grudges against the team or the fans because of it. But then I got an e-mail telling me about this post which I felt was a bit of a cheap shot, trying to dismiss it as something that didn't happen.

I had no intention of holding this against any Montreal fan other than those directly involved. But if you try to just dismiss it as my exaggeration, it won't go away because I won't back down from the truth.
