Sweden calling!
A point gained or two lost? Sort of depends on how you look at it, I think 1-1 was quite fair.
The game opened with not much play from either side, close marking and low pace from the two teams. The first real exciting action happened after 15 minutes when our forward tried to turn four or five defenders by himself, he nearly got away with it but his shot went wide.
After that, the game opened up and pace increased. It took us until the 35th minute to create another opportunity, the same forward as before (Stefan Bärlin) made a run on the right wing, got a decent cross in. One of our midfielders was at hand to head into the net, 1-0 to us.
This acted as an alarmclock to Café Opera who sprang into life. A mistake from our left back just four minutes later gave them what they needed, 1-1 just before halftime.
Second half started, we had the ball most of the time without really creating any chances. It looked like Café Opera was happy with one point, they tried to just kill time. We had a few good chances in the dying minutes, no luck. Café Opera almost scored from a counterattack with 30 seconds to go, they got a corner from that but they did'nt take it as the ref blew the final whistle.
Not happy, not sad with 1-1. We have some tough games ahead now, so we could have used those three points...

3 163 fans. That's a good crowd. What's behind the name Café Opera?
It doesn't sound like a football team...

Spot on Francois!
Cafe Opera is the name of a VERY posh nightclub in Stockholm and the team actually started out as a sunday league team with members of staff as players. After a couple of years, they merged with Djursholm, a team in the lower divisons. They started out in division seven or so, backed by money from the owner of Cafe Opera they raced through the league pyramid and are now firmly established in Superettan.
Yup, decent crowd, suppose the beautiful weather played part plus the fact that our local paper haussed the game...
Next game on Sunday, Brommapojkarna away. I am definitely going, they play in the suburbs of Stockholm so only about 100 km one way.
