Lots of news now about the new season. The league structure is broadly outlined: 12 teams in 2 divisions. There have been lots of confirmed signings: including di Lorenzo and Tyler Hemming, just yesterday. Seasons tickets are on sale: at a bit higher price. And the team is conducting fitness tests and starting some indoor practises before a training camp in Portugal in February.
A big question, right now, is local players. With Alex Suprenant released and Mayard out on loan to Charleston; How many Canadian players will there be on the team? And will a minimum of Canadian players be a league requirement? And, who can speak french: hopefully Patrick Leduc will be fit and in good form.

Woah, a lot of information here. We should probably create a few threads for some of these.

To answer one question about local players, certainly Reda Agourram will get a shot with the club. He kicked ass with the Attak last season.

He's at camp with the U23 National team...At 19 he is a big horse, with a great touch. We might have something...He didnt win rookie of the year for the Attak, he was behind Mircea Ilcu 18 and Karl Ouimette 17(big guy also, midfielder/defender)...8 guys from the last Canada U18 lineup are with the Attack...5 where starters...Tous parlent français, to comfort your worrys...

Agourram has great potential for sure. Let's see how the Impact handle him.
