4 matches contre Rochester (aller-retour x 2)
Seattle Sounders Assistant General Manager Bart Wiley has revealed that the Sounders currently have 15 players "under option" for the 2007 season.
Back home from the recent USL meetings in Tampa, Wiley exchanged emails with SounderCentral.com on a variety of topics.
The players under option are CJ Klaas, Jake Sagare, Chris Eylander, Jake Besagno, Cam Weaver, Santa Rivera, Nate Boyden, Gabe Sturm, Danny Jackson, Andrew Gregor, Roger Levesque, Leighton O'Brien, Craig Tomlinson, Jamal Sutton and Noah Merl. The Sounders have first "option" over other teams to sign these players as they put together the 2007 roster. Maykel Galindo is under contract for 2007.
When asked what he learned from the meetings, Wiley stated "I find it most valuable to simply sit and discuss business operations with other teams in the league. Yes, each market is different, but the overall goal is to provide high level soccer and entertainment while operating as wisely as possible from a financial standpoint."
At the league meetings several clubs asked Wiley about the health and status of Galindo. Wiley also revealed that the making of the 2007 USL-1 schedule remained a computer-free process with 26 people (2 reps from each club) huddled in a conference room for hours finding matching dates and opponents.
The 2007 schedule will once again include a home and away against every USL-1 team. The other four matches will be filled out with battles against local rivals. This likely means that the Sounders' extra four matches will remain home/away derbies against Portland and Vancouver. The 2007 schedule will be released by the end of the year.
While GoToday.com will be replaced as sponsor on the 2007 kits by US Home Mortgage, the travel website will none the less still be involved with the club in 2007. Yet to be determined by the club are the style of uniforms they will wear next season and whether or not Comcast will do replay broadcasts. Also not finalized yet is whether or not the league has adopted any rules changes for the coming year.

Donc:
20 matchs contre 10 autres clubs (aller-retour)
4 matchs contre les 2 autres clubs (aller-retour x 2)
