Avec deux matches amicaux avant la série contre St-VAG, cela veut dire que l'équipe sera ensemble pour presque un mois (fin mai à fin juin), ce qui aidera sûrement la chimie entre les joueurs, typiquement un point faible.
Si le Canada remporte cette série, il faudra avoir, pour une bonne préparation, au moins 2-3 matches amicaux durant l'été avant d'entamer la ronde demi-finale.
