De plus en plus de club européen viennent faire leur petit tour en amérique du nord. Peut-être que nous aussi nous aurons droit à une visite un jour.

Le Depor devrait venir jouer pas loin de 7 matchs au Mexique et au States. Je suis sur que ces matchs de préparations vont être un excellent prétexte pour venir faire un peu de recrutement. Le club de la Corogne a fait un peu son marché au Mexique depuis 2 ans, pas toujours avec bonheurs, mais j'imagine que leurs budget réduit leur permet d'acheter dans un championnat un peu sous évaluer.
Disons que j'aimerais bien faire le déplacement à NY.

PLANNING A NEW AMERICAN TOUR

The club announced through Depor Sport that’s planning a new summer tour in America, in the beginning it will be played within a period of three weeks and it will include three Mexican cities plus four matches in the United States.

Deportivo is planning a new American tour for the summer, in past weeks it was rumoured that president Lendoiro took advantage of the negotiations with Tigres de Monterrey for Omar Bravo in order to search for possible dates, rivals and stadiums for the tour, it was even rumoured about the existence of a tournament called Copa Azteca in which Depor and Villarreal would participate.

And now the club is confirming its intensions about playing that tour. On Saturday, Depor Sport printed in its main page a report about the negotiations for the American tour. According to the report, Deportivo would play seven friendly matches in a matter of three weeks.

The matches would be held in three Mexican cities plus four United States dates: Mexico DF (Estadio Azteca), Guadalajara (Estadio Jalisco), Monterrey (Estadio Universitario), Los Angeles (Home Depot stadium), Chicago (Toyota Park stadium), Oakland (Buck Shaw stadium) and New York (Giants stadium)

For the moment the club is still negotiating the terms and the exact dates for the tour. If the deal is finally confirmed, it will be the second straight time that Deportivo visits the American continent in order to realise an American summer tour. For the present season, Depor played three matches in Venezuela during August of 2008 (Deportivo Tachira, Maritimo and Minerven).
