Hønefoss - Moss friendly 02/26-2004

Moss played a friendly against Hønefoss yesterday. Result 2-2. Rob Friend scored again, according to reports on a nice shot from 17 metres. Patrice Bernier was once again reported to be in very good form, working like a dog on the midfield.

The Hønefoss goals came after weak defensive play by Moss, but the positive was that Moss produces lot's of opportunities themselves. Should have scored a couple of goals more, and reports say that Friend should have been rewarded a penalty in the final minute.

Last years off-season friendly against Hønefoss ended with a 0-4 defeat, and was the first sign of something being totally wrong with the team. So yesterdays 2-2 is not at all too bad.

Can you ask Patrice if he wants to come back and play for Montreal since we might lose our best offensive midfielder next season?

I'm just kidding but it's good to see Moss having positive results like that and both of our boys playing well like that.
