Didn't go, decided to stay home and watch the Champions League final instead. A predictable 0-0 and penalties to decide the game, not very funny.
Anyway, as I've heard the game opened with a few chances either way. VSK, for some reason, decided to start with our reservekeeper and he's not exactly brilliant. Not sure he was at fault for the result but I wont be surprised if that is the case.
Back to the game then: First half quite even, we had some chances but nothing major. Same for Öster I suppose. Second half started and a few minutes into the half our attacker nearly lobbed the ball over their keeper but the ball hit the top of the bar and bounced clear. Some minutes later and it was VSK who started the goalscoring when one of our midfielders scored. This apparently acted as an alarmbell to Öster who increased the pace of the game and started to run our defence ragged. They duly scored within a few minutes, nine minutes later they scored again from the penalty spot and finished off the game by scoring 3-1 with two minutes to go.
No more cup for us then, we played reasonably well for 70 minutes and then collapsed. Seems familiar somehow...
Ah, well, at least we can focus on the league now *cliché alert* We are meeting Sylvia away on monday, a game I'll probably go to. That bloody strike is finally over so no more f*****g about with the fixture list now.
