Yes, 2-1 the final score. A fair result in my opinion, but then again I would say that, wouldn't I?
All the goals came in the first half, the first after just five minutes when our african wonderkid was fouled just outside of the penalty area. Our midfielder executed the following freekick beautifully, curled it in the top right corner. Their goalkeeper didn't even move...
After that brilliant start we sort of died down again, inviting Malmö back into the game. They had the ball more and more, trying our keeper with a few shots from distance. Being a VSK-supporter, I sort of knew that they would score unless we started acting on the pitch soon. Sadly, we never got started so they equalised in the 27th minute after what looked like a defensive mix-up.
However, the players soon came to life after this and just two minutes later we managed to score again after one of our forwards got a nice cross in, their keeper couldn't reach the ball. Our other forward stood patiently waiting at the far post, totaly unmarked and headed cooly into an empty net.
We managed to stay in control for the remainder of the first half, playing very disciplined and not allowing Malmö anything. Second half started, looking very much like the end of the first. Only five minutes in, the sky opened and football soon resembled water-polo or something. It looked like our guys just wanted the game to be over, we played with 7 or 8 defenders, just hoofing the ball as soon as it came near. Malmö couldn't cope with this and never threatened the goal again. We had a few decent counter-attacks in the dying minutes, but nothing resulting.

We're now up against Kalmar FF away on Sunday, got a feeling that game will be hard for us despite our four straight wins. They are currently in second place and has also showed good form lately. We're now third with no game in hand, so a tough game is to be expected. I'll be going, it's only 800 km back and forth...

Re: question
Well, it sort of depends. It's not always that there is an organised bus, I don't think there'll be one for the game on sunday. So if I'm not going, I'll be going by car instead. I normally don't go by bus, but it happens a few times over one season.François a écrit :When you go to away matchs, do you go by bus (coach) organised by the supporters club?
Quite a few supporters are making a weekend of it and are travelling down on friday. Kalmar is on the eastcoast of Sweden, close to the sea so I suspect there'll be some drunken swimming taking place...
