Nah, no action for Braz I'm afraid. He's suspended, let's hope we won't miss him too much.François a écrit :Adam Braz in action over the week-end at home against V. Frölunda.

Disaster, disaster, disaster my canuck friends.
We lost 3-2, meaning that we haven't won since the 18th of June. Personally, I gave up all hope of promotion after Saturdays game, not that we played horribly bad but rather that it is becoming more and more obvious that we have players in the squad who simply are not good enough to play at the top level.
Braz was suspended, but his replacement did OK.
Their first goal was one of the more bizarre goals I've seen in my life. Our defender had the ball as last man, he was attacked by one of their forwards and was just going to hoof the ball away when the ball hit that forwards shinpad, resulting in a very hard spin backwards. The ball spun in a semicircle towards our goal, our keeper stood and watched in amazement as the ball made it's way in. Astonished silence from the crowd...
Ah, well, we equalised ten minutes later when we scored from a very well-taken corner. By now, we played reasonably well without creating any real pressure on their goal. No surprise then when they were allowed to make it 2-1 just before halftime.
Second half and we found it more and more difficult to create anything that looked like offensive play, hoofing long balls almost invariably. Frölunda are happy by now, they are just defending their lead. We have the ball most of the time but Frölunda are always dangerous on counterattack. It was one of those that made it 3-1 and we looked beaten by now. We got a late consolation goal with just three minutes to go, not that it helped...

We now have two tough away games, I'd be happy with two points the way we are playing now. Next game is away to Norrköping, I'll be there despite my lack of faith...

Just got back from New York and the Man United-Juventus game and the Italian suppercopa between Juve and AC Milan...
Well, bad result for the green and white...What was the reason for the suspension for Braz?

Sounds like a fun trip, Francois, suppose it is time for you at that side of the pond to experience proper football...
Braz was suspended due to having recieved three yellow cards over the season so far. He'll be back for Sundays game, I saw him munching pizza yesterday so he looks prepared...

After watching the Impact last night in a 1-1 draw, I'm looking to move to Europe to be able to catch first division football.Robban B a écrit :Sounds like a fun trip, Francois, suppose it is time for you at that side of the pond to experience proper football...
