Finally, after almost 1000 minutes of football, Moss got a victory again. We haven't won since May 16. Could this be the turning point? We hope so!

Bernier did allright, playing on the right midfield position. With a bit more luck he could have scored on a nice shot from aprox. 18 metres, but the ball went high.

But the game looked like almost all the other games we have played this season. Moss had the ball, the opportunities and the spirit, but it was the opponent Bærum who scored the first goal two minutes into the second half. At that time 95% of the people present at Melløs staidium was thinking "NO, not again!" But the players pulled it together and never gave up. And they were rewarded. The equalizer game half-way through the second half, and the winning goal came in the 75' minute. Both goals scored by Sakkariassen.

Rob Friend came onto the field with 20 minutes to go, and for a second or so I thought it was him who headed the ball so beautifully 5 minutes later. It doesn't seem to have helped on Rob's game to bench him. And that is sad. It must be frustrating for him, but the only way out of this mess is hard work. He is playing for the reserves two divisions further down the system, but even there he fails to impress anyone, according to reports in the paper and from supporters who follow the reserves as well.

Next week Moss goes to Mandal, on the south end of Norway, to meet Mansdalskammeratene. They opened the season very good and Moss lost to them at home early in the season. MK play a type of football that is difficult to meet. Very defensive, depending on break-downs, long balls to a lonely forward, corners and free-kicks. But it seems like the air has gone out of the balloon for them, not being able to perform on the same level lately as in the beginning of the season. My guess is that Moss have a good chance to win against them.

Let's just hope for the best!

......where can I see a Norwegian site that has something on the Moss reserves ? I don't read Norwegian and would just like to see the game stats.

Hmm...I don't really know any sites that follows Moss reserves and their battle in division 3. But I can inform you that Moss reserves won their last game against Fredrikstad reserves with 5-1! Away to! If you go to the Moss FK/Kraakevingen forum you will find a thread on this last game. There is a post there with stats/tables.

By the way, Rob Friend scored 2 goals in this last game and the paper gave him credit for his fighting spirit and attitude. Maybe things are going better for him now..
