RHINOS DELIVERING HOLIDAY CHEER

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Raging Rhinos players have begun the process of delivering turkeys to over 200 paid season ticket holders this week.


As part of a renewal program with the Rhinos for select season ticket holders, fans had the opportunity to receive a scheduled 15-minute visit from a Rhinos player delivering a free turkey to their homes. In addition, they also received two tickets for a Rochester Americans hockey game on December 28th at HSBC Arena in Buffalo and on January 16th at the Blue Cross Arena. As of the deadline on November 15th, 225 season ticket holders will take part in the promotion.

“This is probably the greatest fan/player promotion that we have ever set up,” said Rhinos Community Development Manager “Soccer” Sam Fantauzzo. “The reactions of the fans having players come into their homes has been great. The people have been so excited.”

The Rhinos office has also been receiving many calls for their turkey to be donated to charities, such as the Open Door Mission.

The Rhinos will continue to deliver turkeys during the holiday season, based off of the individual season ticket holders needs.
