BALTIMORE—Ze Roberto had a career-high two goals and three assists as the Philadelphia Kixx nipped the Baltimore Blast 8-7 Friday before 8,216 at 1st Mariner Arena.

The Brazilian’s second goal, with 3:04 left to play, was the game-winner, capping a nailbiting fourth quarter that saw the Blast rally from a two-goal deficit to lead 7-6 before Joel Shanker and Ze Roberto snatched the decision for Philadelphia.

Kixx player-coach Don D’Ambra also scored twice, and goalkeeper Stuart Dobson came up big for the Kixx, making 15 saves to counter Baltimore’s 22-15 advantage in shots. Denison Cabral and Chile Farias paced a balanced Baltimore attack, each with a goal and an assist.
