Question Regarding Player

Message par Jacob »

Sorry to post in this section, but there appeared not to be many members replying to posts in the English section. I wondered if anyone could answer the following questions.

Why did Ian Westlake sign for the fourth comming season in 2012 only be let go before it started was this the clubs decision?
When Ian played in Championship in England he would have been on about £5k a week ($7200 Canadian dollars a week) how do the wages compare?
Westlake was a very good player who was around the England U21 setup, I just find it suprising he wasn't a well respected enough, to play in the 1st season in the MLS?

Many Thanks

He was hurt most of training camp and since there is a limited amount of place for a foreigner they decided they did'nt need him anymore. If he had stayed healthy maybe he would have made the club. A bit of bad luck for him.

And he was definitly not that good. MLS is not as bad as you think Jacob, ask Kris Boyd, Barry Robson and Kenny Miller.
