Vous souvenez-vous de Onandi Lowe. Et bien il est maintenant à Coventry mais il semble qu'il a de drôles de hobbies...

Onandi Lowe and a twenty three-year-old woman were arrested by Northamptonshire police for suspicion of possession and intention to supply a controlled drug. He was released on bail and has been given the all clear to play in the next game for first division club Coventry City.

"Coventry City Football Club has sent home Jamaica Reggae Boyz striker Onandi Lowe until further notice following his arrest last week on alleged drug offences."

'Obviously when you salt you just salt bad man'. Lowe has just left his third division team in England and has struggled to get a contract with the first division team, Coventry City. Then after returning from a friendly international match between Uruguay and his national team, Jamaica, five days later he was fined for returning late.

Now at the age of 30, when most are well past their prime and are practically ancient in the football world, he is finally at the top and now his career could be over and he could be forced to spend up to five years or more in prison.

We as Jamaicans can only hope that he is innocent. If not, the question that will pop up in almost every Jamaican's mind is why did he do it?

There should be no need for him to do it for money, and he should have enough sense to stay away from certain people.
What is done in the past cannot be undone, it can only be corrected in the present. We can only hope that this charge will be dropped and he can continue to play his football.
