Oxford United manager Brian Talbot is keen on signing former Coventry City and Rushden & Diamonds striker Onandi Lowe. Talbot the Oxford Mail: "Onandi Lowe worked well with me when I was at Rushden.
"When I left at Rushden, things didn't go right for him, but I have to say that he is one of the best players I have ever managed – and that is a big compliment because I have managed players at a higher level than him.
"I think if he were given the opportunity to come back to England then he would, but the problem is the situation with a work permit."
