Sometimes you just have to let it go. The wins still count, but they weren't in the league we'll be playing in, therefore they're gone. I also don't get why the Whitecaps have their NASL star, but that's another question. Let's try and be a little humble when stepping it up a level, shall we?

This is pro sports...One of the only areas of life were humility is not really a virtue, cause it really is all about winning. I agree that we probably should not carry over our USL/NASL stars over to MLS, but screw humility! Let's boast and say it loud and proud: We have a great club in this city with a long history by North American footy standards.

No one can argue that the impact is one of the oldest professionnal soccer clubs in Canada and U.S. Now im trying to write that the 17 year history is a milestone and undeniably a great achievement. In 2012 we begin a new and fresh chapter which will involve accepting last place for a few years before the team melts togheter into a real MLS club. Now let's be hypothetical and imagine that the impact does stamp its 3 stars from its not to distant past on its jerseys and steps on MLS's freshly cut grass and calibre with those same 3 stars you one in a league that leads you to nothing but recognition that you were, for a time, the best team in the USL. Now how are your 3 stars from the USL relevant to the MLS? That's my point. Your opponent who won a MLS cup will look at you and laugh and tell you that you are living in the past. The impact does not need to showcase its three stars on its jersey because history speaks for itself. The difference between a winner and a looser is that the winner does all the things the looser refuses to do such as playing in the USL and being the last team becoming enfranchised in the highest level of north american soccer.

1)Yes but the MLS is the futur and the USL stars are irrelevant to the MLS. Your comparing a whale with a shark. The whale is a mammal and the shark...Get it. It doesn't fit.

2) Dont forget that history can speak for itself in the abstract. When you have a good reputation, you dont need to show that you do because your opponent will know after doing a simple research.

Nos 2 drapeux ont une croix! Celle du Quebec est blanche avec le fond bleu (notre maillot est bleu et ... BLANC! lol)

Meme chose pour le drapeaux de Montreal.. on aurait le maillot exterieur blanc avec une croix rouge...

Moi je trouve que ca pourrait une tres bonne idee et jen suis sur que le monde aimerait beaucoup.

On en a discuté sur un autre thread je sais pu trop où, mais bien que graphiquement c'est pas mal, symboliquement la grosse croix sur le maillot je tripe pas du tout et ça risquerait de ne pas trop faire l'unanimité, bien au contraire.
