Mr. Dos Santos, do you agree with the opinon of many that this was an excellent match on both sides, a final before the final.

Absolutely, I agree with you there.

We congratulate you on your fighting spirit, and are sorry that we happened to meet each other in the semi-final, as opposed to the final. Your team is the second favourite club – after our Serbian White Eagles – for many Serbian football supporters here in Canada, with whom I’ve had the opportunity to talk to.

Thank you. In the first 25 minutes, the experience of the Serbian White Eagles – our team is still a young group – came out in front. Your players were much more calm and everything, but afterwards as we started believing and as the game went on, we lowered your lead to 2:1, and I think we could’ve tied the game. But, like you said, I think it was, “a final before a final.” With all the respect that I have for Toronto Croatia, I think that the two best teams met and that the best semi-final was today. At the end you guys won, you won fairly and I wish you good luck for the last game.

What are you plans for next season? Are you keeping the same group? Or…

Yes, we want to keep the same core of players. We are also looking at 3-4 major signings, I think that we are going to be stronger next year. This is still a young team to develop, however, we will play with the same spirit. As long as I’m with this team, this team is going to have a winning mentality and winning spirit.

Darko Kolic – after our Serbian White Eagles – is the favourite player of many Serbs in Toronto. His experience is very important for the development of your players, is he still going to be playing for you next season?

We’re not sure, we’re going to sit down with him at the end of the season. We’re also going to sit down with the first team of the Montreal Impact and make some decisions regarding the choices of players; we are still the reserve team of the Montreal Impact and we have to answer. From there, we will make a decision by the winter and you guys will know by January.
