Majoritairement un petit entrepot de tissus pour fabriquer des drapeaux custom ou bien des bannières. cest situé sur la plaza st hubert. j'pense même quils peuvent te faire n'importe quoi avec le matériel a disposition....pis pas cher. Je vais minformer.

So has anyone tried to contact any of the the Admins on the Facebook groups?

I know a lot of people on facebook just like to join facebook groups, there are at least 400 people signed up to various Impact groups. There must be some of them that like us just don't want to talk about it , but actually get the ball rolling to get this done. We can tell them about this site, and the blog and try to get them involved. If this hasn't been done yet. I would volunteer my time to to make the contacts, as I'm living in Calgary I would most likely and forward them to the group.

Right, I thought I was logged in already. It was me trying to stir the pot on the Voyageurs and gotorontoFC forums for an MLS club in Montreal. I think there is lots of do, but it should be possible to play off of TFC's popularity and continue with great fan support for the Impact. Let's get an MLS club in MONTREAL!

As if the potential rivarly with Toronton wasn't enough of a motivator to get Montrealers to turn out in droves, there are other threats to the goal of having MLS soccer in Montreal. Lots of groups are motivated to try to help the local ownership land the next MLS franchaise. For example:

"There seem to be plenty of people jonesing for a team inside the boroughs, with many expressing an antipathy to the New York Red Bull franchise located over in New Jersey. Several hundred people have signed a petition calling for MLS to expand to the boroughs, with the New York City FC blog a comprehensive advocate of the idea. The Borough Boys Supporters Club announces themselves as “the official supporters group of a second Major League Soccer team in the New York City Area.”

I think the Facebook group would be a good idea since I think it could get a lot of attention there.

I also wondered about stoking the Toronto/Montreal rivaly through something like the following: pick a weekend where the Impact play at home and where Toronto FC plays an away game that is expensive to get to for most of the TFC fans...Houston or Dallas, for instance. Invite the Red Patch Boys and Toronto fans to come to Montreal, attend a Impact game at Stade Saputo and watch the Toronto FC game in a pub/pubs with Impact fans. We'll catch the attention of EPL, Serie A, Ligue 1 fans in the various pubs and the numbers of supports will grow. Also, lots of Toronto fans will support the idea of Montreal club and it would be great to have their support. The sooner the better and I think there is a window of opportunity after the recent announcement from Gillette/Saputo to continue to grab the spotlight for Montreal in the MLS.

Pour ma part je peux contribuer à des idées de bannières, concevoir des fliers à passer au stade et si besoin il y a, conceptualiser des logos ou des t-shirts..

Je suis webdesigner, alors si y'a besoin de retaper le site UM je pourrais être dispo...

Et si on veut aller au delà d'un blog pour MTL -> MLS je suis prêt à aider aussi.
Y'a juste pour la commande de domaine/serveur etc. que je suis nul alors si qqun peut s'occuper de ça avant moi, ce serait bien.

et pour les rares fois que j'ai la chance d'aller directement au stade, ça va me faire un plaisir d'aller faire du bruit en masse avec vous tous

They are useful as friends first--so we can get a team in the MLS--before they can be relevant as enemies. I'm open to other, effective, ideas if this runs against the stream.

Obvious choice to start a rumour.
