This is a good idea. The MLS all star game is a target for a MTL--MLS media event.

Nah, its clear the Impact has great attandance, I took his point to be that with a minimum of people and a big banner, you can make a big impact on TV. Maybe the MLS game isn't the best target given the timing as you mentioned...something will come up, though. Ahh, wait, I didn't look at the schedule...if the Impact-TFC game is in TO two days before the All star game, also at BMO, it could really be interesting... Are the Impact fans ready to hit the road is the question. I'm stuck in Europe, so its up to you guys. Will attend Uefa Cup Rangers v. La Viola, though, May 1st.

There must be a travel agency that could turn that into a moneymaker somehow.....the thing is, someone has to decide that its going to happen and puts their name to it, then (and only then) people find it intiguing and sign up. It cant be me, and perhaps not you Mpenza (though I see you have the right idea) perhaps that someone is out there. Speak up!

Nobody is going to make the trip... we could possibly bring a decent group (30-40?) for the Impact game in toronto but that's it.

A group of about 8 or 9 friends attended the Fiorentina vs. Palermo Serie A game in Florence on Saturday. When I saw their faces in the newpaper on Sunday, right behind Donadel just after he booted the ball for the game's only goal, it reminded me of the potential a clear, well placed graphic might have to communicate our message to the soccer audience. Perhaps it is time to get some scarves made with MTL ---> MLS on it? Here's the link: the girl with the blue and white scarf is in our group and in front of her, slightly to the left, a guy with grey sleeves on his shirt, looking intently at the action. That whole row is basically our group; I wish now I had decked them out in Impact gear or at least a sign of some sort. Might have to photoshop it in after the fact.

Do we have a banner or scarves in the works? Scarves are of course the traditional thing, but for this campaign might shirts (easily broadcasts message)or hats (keeps the sun out) be better and wouldn't compete with efforts to sell/show Impact scarves. Shirts and hats might be too...permanent, perhaps something more "use and recycle" would be appropriate and easier to accomplish. Ideas? (Is it too early for Orange to be official colour and Montreal Dynamo the offical name? )

Calling all graphic designers: a few friends and I hope to go to the Rangers/Fiorentina Uefa Cup game and can bring something with us and take photos if something can be designed and printed here cheaply. Deadline: April 28th so we can get it printed for May 1st game day. Further, an overall graphic concept is needed, something that looks good at different scales so it can be reproduced to fit a shirt if necessary or as large as a banner.

Pour l'instant, je travaille sur une bannière MTL -> MLS. Par contre, si plusieurs personne en font, ce sera encore mieux.
Imaginez 5-6 bannières dans le stade...

Nous avons été contactés pour une entrevue sur la venue possible de la MLS à Montréal, mais je n'ai malheureusement pas le temps de m'en occuper en ce moment et je serai à l'étranger pendant une quinzaine de jours à compter de lundi prochain.
